Nathan Simpson is a Central Virginia native, business owner, and member of the Appomattox Town Council.
A web designer by trade, Nathan started his career as an Information Technology intern for the Town of Appomattox. Nathan has since built high-visibility and mission-critical applications at the local, state, and federal levels. Most recently, he served as the Sr. Web Policy Developer for the Commonwealth of Virginia.
Through his firm, Colonial Systems, he has led marketing and communications campaigns for various government clients, including the US Army Futures Command, US Special Operations Command, and the Commonwealth of Virginia. Through his work in the creative services industry, Nathan built a strong background in project planning, execution strategy, and risk management. He now works as a management and business process consultant for new ventures.
